San Antonio's Rockstar Turned Realtor®: What Do You Get When 166,213 People Take The Day Off?

What Do You Get When 166,213 People Take The Day Off?

Thanksgiving - a day of rest for most of us.

Not many people write loans, shows houses, or close transactions on Thanksgiving Day here in America.  I bet there's a few transactions occurring, but overall the real estate world is dead today.  There's plenty of us checking our Twitter streams, sending emails, and blogging about Thanksgiving...but overall, the American real estate industry is silent.

So what happens when so many people stop going about their normal routines?  I'll let this screen shot explain it all:

Matt:

So, that's what is going on today...

My turkey is in the oven and my table is already set.  So, why not catch up on some Active Rain?

I hope you have a very nice holiday, Matt.

OK, so it isn't just me. This has been driving me crazy all morning. Someone over at the AR control center needs to broaden the broadband!!

Matt,  it really is bad today.  Maybe it's telling us to take out time to enjoy turkey and family.  Happy Thanksgiving!

Actually Matt, this is what happens when a very small group of developers try to take a day off :-)
But never fear, I have tracked them down and dragged them kicking and screaming from kitchens overflowing with wonderful smells and banished them back to the dungeon to fix things.

I am thankful our developers don't know the term 'prison riot'

haha!

Happy Thanksgiving!

<activerain-staff-invisibility>I just kept hitting the refresh button until it worked.  I know that's one of the worst things you can do, but I did.</activerain-staff-invisibility>

Hope everyone had a great day!  I'm still stuffed and have enough turkey to feed another army still!

I was forewarned yesterday and stayed away. Happy to hear you are stuffed, however. It's Friday morning and I'm still stuffed myself.

At first I thought it was on purpose that AR was down.  Then I realized it was a problem.  Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
