You've probably heard me talk about 31 Days To Build A Better Blog a few times and you know I'm a big fan. Having run the challenge on this blog and RErockstar.com (as well as covering my efforts as part of the Build a Better Blog Group), I not only had a good time doing the daily tasks, but learned a ton of information from Darren Rowse, one of the most recognized names in blogging (if you don't read his ProBlogger site, you're missing out).
Through the course of the challenge, Darren gave us a daily task and explained the substance and theory behind each task. Through the 31 days, I was challenged to find new ways to look at how I constructed blog posts and the information in them - things I still practice on my blogs today.
Two days left to save.
The 31 Days To Build A Better Blog Workbook is a downloadable e-book available at the ProBlogger site and normally costs $39 (well worth what you'll get out of it). However, I just received an email from Darren that he's put it on sale for $19.95. With the promo code below, you'll save an additional 25% (final price: $14.96). This promotional price expires on December 1st (at 5AM Eastern). You must use the promotional code when ordering the workbook:
PROMO CODE: november25
I've just started a new blog (it's somewhat of a secret at the moment) and I'll be using the 31 Days To Build A Better Blog Workbook to build quality content and its online presence over the course of December. After going through the 31 days on my other blogs, I swear by it as a way to sharpen your blogging skills, increase traffic, and learn blogging tips from a pro.
If enough people order the e-book and want to start up another master-mind group focusing on bringing your blog to the next level, I'd be more than happy to join in and discuss what I've learned and some of the tips and tricks I've picked up along the way.
The promo code is also good for ordering The Copywriting Scorecard for Bloggers for $22.48, a discount of 25% off the regular price of $29.97.

I respect your opinion enough, that simply on your recommendation, I'm going to buy the book. Knowing what you know about the blog, you'll have to see
#1) if I'm using it
#2) whether it truly does improve my Blog by January 1st.
and thanks for the $5.00 off!
Alan - Thanks for the compliment. You can ask others as well - Chris and Stephanie Somers did the 31DBBB Challenge as well, I think their blog really took off after that (from my viewpoint). I guess now I'll have to check in on you constantly, haha. I know it certainly helps with consistency, which I can always use help with, but I don't think you struggle with much. No problem on the promo code, I wish I had caught his earlier email about so people had more time to take advantage of the discount, but I must have missed his email early in November. Now there's only two days left so it's a mad dash to the finish.
I'm "glancing" through the book now, and so far I've picked up a good half-dozen excellent ideas, and I haven't really READ it yet. Good stuff.
Thanks, Matt. I'm planning on ordering it tonight. Pefect timing on your part! I'm attending my first Rain Camp tomorrow. I can't wait! Best wishes in 2011!
Matt, I signed up, I followed for a week, then got behind. I have never been able to write everyday.
But, it was awesome and I saved all of the emails and assignments...now they are in a book .
Good job exposing this.
Check it out - Alan May is already starting: the Elevator Pitch.
Chris - Good luck with it and enjoy RainCamp.
Missy - Writing everyday is hard, no doubt about that. I'm go in and out of it unfortunately. The good thing about the 31DBBB is that it can always be done over and over again and even spaced out (although I think the most impact comes from 31 straight days).
I came here via Alan's blog and based on what the two of you are saying, I'm going to order it. Thanks for the info.
Well I missed the deadline as it's 4 hours too late but I too will look into getting the book. Thanks for the info Matt. Sounds very informative!
I'm ordering the book too! I need something to jump start the year! thanks.
