San Antonio's Rockstar Turned Realtor®: BlogTalkRadio - Tech In Twenty interviews me.

BlogTalkRadio - Tech In Twenty interviews me.

Tech In Twenty

Tonight 8PM Central - I do an interview that doesn't involve my favorite albums.

In just a few moments, I'll be joining the Tech In Twenty crew over on Blog Talk Radio for my first ever real estate interview.  I've done a million interviews over the years in the music industry, but this one is going to be exciting for me.  Its my first chance to talk about real estate in this kind of situation.  I'm looking forward to it.  I encourage you all to listen and hang out for awhile.  Interesting enough is that the topic is social media and how did I meet one of the people from the show?  Twitter.  If you can't make it tonight, you can always stop by and listen later.  Hopefully I want sound as bad as I do on answering machines...I hate the way that sounds.

In case you missed it, here's the interview.

Brother Matt...

Knock 'em dead!

Vickie - Thanks.  It was fun to do.  Luis was someone I met on Twitter, so it was an interesting match up.

Brother Richard - I talk to much in interviews, but I did what I could.  I did interviews in my previous career with a beer in hand or got to play games with the interviewer or in one completely classic interview for Viva (Germany's answer to MTV) speak in nonsensical German for 20 minutes as the interviewer laughed hysterically, so it was easy enough to do, now I don't have that to hide behind.  Haha.

Is it over?  did I miss it?  Is there a playback i can listen to?  Very cool Matt! KM

I'll have to catch it on playback.  And I HATE my voice...  I think I sound like a pompous butt-head.

I just found it and listened to a bit of it.  I think you sound exactly as I pictured!  KM

Kristin - Yeah, I didn't remember to post about it (nice one Matt) until it was late.  D'oh.

Lane - I think that's one of those things that everyone thinks about their own voice.

Kristin - Interesting.  I have to think of how I think you sound.

Matt - I will give it a listen.  Maybe we should have you on our show sometime soon!  Have I told you about it already?

Matt, what a great interview. I listened just to hear your voice. LOL After dialoging with you here and AG. We are having a workshop on social media at my board. It filled up so fast we had to add a day. I was SHOCKED!

Jason - Yes I don't think you told me directly, but since I read a lot, I know you're doing it.  I will have to stop in.

Missy - Its funny how you can "know" people and then wonder about what they sound like.  The internet still fascinates me.  Good to hear some people are catching on at your board.  I think San Antonio has great promise in this area, but we're not moving towards it fast enough.  I took a blogging class and it was pitiful.  The best part about it was hearing Teresa Boardman mentioned.  The instructor didn't really teach anything, he just rattled off a list of sites.  Interestingly enough, they're on here and I passed them moons ago in terms of points.  It made me chuckle a little as I did it.

Matt, I tried listening but it didn't get to the part where you speak yet.  Right now it is Buffering over and over and over.  Will try again.  Yesterday I was invited to be interviewed on a radio show but at this point, I find that pretty daunting.

I am having some trouble with listening also.....will definitely try it later.  Glad you enjoyed doing the interview.

Shirley - Hmmmm, its working fine for me (yes, I just listen to myself over and over and over again).  I wonder what that was all about?  It seems you're not the only one.  Shirley, the key to being interviewed is to try not to care to much about how you sound.  I know that sounds a bit strange, but once you stop thinking and start talking, its a lot easier...even in a foreign language.

Ann - I hope it eventually works for you, would love to know what everyone thinks.

Thanks for the tips, Matt.  I may think about doing it... or not... lol...

Maybe it was my computer's fault I couldn't hear your interview.  Dagnabit!
